Nelson is a small and friendly branch, which welcomes both members and non-members to meetings. Meetings are generally held in the NMIT Arts Block on Collingwood Road, Nelson: other venues are used from time to time.  If you live in the outlying areas of the Nelson / Tasman region, where access to Nelson is difficult, please contact one of the Branch Executive below to discuss holding NZEALS events in your area.

The kaupapa of our branch is: building educational leadership capacity, building connections across sectors and making connections to research.  We support all who are in leadership positions or aspiring to leadership, across all educational phases, in their leadership role, context and dilemmas.  We use seminars, follow-up meetings and cross-sector study groups to provide an ongoing programme of professional development.
