E ngā mana, e ngā reo, e ngā karangatanga maha tēnā koutou katoa.
Nei rā te mihi atu kia koutou te whānau o NZEALS

This term NZEALS has hosted three consecutive Tuesday online forums focussing on Culturally Responsive Practice - and what that may mean as leaders, individuals and for our teams.

Our intent is to provide a platform for members (and non members) to share their experiences and wonderings and support these conversations with some of the research available to us. This time we relied on the mahi done by Drs Angus & Sonia McFarlane, Mere Berryman, Anne Milne, Melanie Rewai - Couch, and others.

We had wide representation from ECE, primary, area school, special character, secondary, ERO and MoE - all of whom informed and enriched our dialogue.

We invite you all to join us next term for our next series of leadership conversations, to deepen and extend our leadership practices.

We are excited to be in the early stages of planning our biannual conference for 2024 and are currently thinking this will be in August. Please keep an eye out for further information to follow in subsequent publications.
